This text serves as the front matter and comprehensive table of contents for an extensive digital collection of works by Jane Austen. Edited by David Widger and produced as a Project Gutenberg electronic book, the document outlines the structural layout of various novels and early writings contained within the comprehensive volume. The section begins with licensing and copyright details for users worldwide, followed by a specific dedication addressed to Alice Goodson Woodby. The primary component of the text is a linked index that lists multiple major literary pieces, including Persuasion, Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, Emma, Lady Susan, Love And Freindship and other Early Works, Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility. For each listed title, the index details individual chapters, volumes, letters, and associated introductory notes or illustrations. The organization provides readers with direct navigational access to every part of the author's compiled bibliography available in the digital edition.
